Used race cars usually don’t get much on the return on investment. This is unique but not 40k unique.

It’s caged because it’s a rally car. It’s been competing for about three seasons now. It was a factory backed program and Toyota insisted on the car being mechanically as stock as possible for promo/advertising/bragging purposes, hence the stock transmission.

Considering the quality of the build, the fact that it comes from the Millen Works shop (as in Rod Millen, Rhys Millen, and Ryan Millen), and the fact that used R2 Fiestas demand a similar price despite a much, much lower initial build cost I’m not so sure.
